A quality yacht scale model has a strong communication impact: it presents to the customer a more realistic perception of a new design or it can be used to market a new design proposal to the market. Also, before starting construction of the costly equipment required for production, it is necessary to ensure by using prototypes that all the design definitions in the project are satisfactory.
